What Makes the DEC Special?

With regard to DEC Controllers, Master Control Systems has taken the unique stance that, while it is important to meet the minimum requirements set forth by NFPA 20, UL, and FM, it is equally important that you are not limited to them. Master provides that alternative: our DEC Series Controller.

Unlike other Fire Pump Controller manufacturers, we stand by our entire product and anything inside the controller is gauranteed for 5 years or is replaced for free. On top of this, we also include a 2-year labor reimbursement, and a $5,000 lightning damage gaurantee. Now that's confidence in quality.

Lightning Gaurantee

A controller that is protected against lightning strikes? Master Control Systems has made it possible, and to prove it, we have an unprecedented $5,000 lightning gaurantee. But how do we do it?

Unique to Master, we have designed our circuitry to essentially stay offline until it is needed. Take, for example, how you would protect your computer at home during a storm: you unplug it! Our EC Controller is based off this concept, except while it is "unplugged" it retains the capacity to turn on the moment it is needed.

Digial Pressure Recorder (PN)

Invented by Master Control Systems, the Digitial Pressure Recorder keeps track of all alarm and pressure data. It captures data once every hour if there is no change in controller status, or once every 0.33 seconds if any alarm or change in pressure (5 psi or more) occurs. Combined with over 4000 data points, 350 alarm conditions, a 12-hour battery backup, and total independence from the controller, you can be sure you will capture any and all crucial data.

Now, data can be tough to interpret, so we've tackled this problem as well. Our PN allows you to download this data onto your laptop from either the controller itself, or a wireless connection. Then, using Masters proprietary program (included with all EC Controllers) you can then graphically pressure data and link alarms to each pressure point.
